What you can expect during your time with us.

Choosing to go forward with a surgical procedure is a major decision, and we are excited that your cosmetic surgery journey will begin with us.

We take great pride in our very personalized approach to patient care, offering peace of mind by being there for you every step of the way.

We are here to ensure you feel as reassured, confident and as cared for as possible, and that you are fully informed about your procedure... before, during, AND afterwards.

Your Consultation

Deciding to go forward with a cosmetic surgical procedure is exciting! But it is important to be well informed about what is involved.

  • During your private consultation, we will discuss your wishes, desired outcome and what you can expect. Transparency is important to us, and we want you to be clear about how we can help you achieve your goals. Your surgical plan should be individually tailored to fit your unique characteristics and needs, so we take the time to listen, discuss, and then provide you with the best options to address your concerns.

  • If you decide to go forward with a procedure, we will then book a preoperative appointment for you.

*Consultations with our coordinator are free of charge, consultations with the surgeon are $100. This fee will be applied to your surgical fee if you decide to move forward with a procedure.

1

Your Pre-Op Appointment

Two to three weeks prior to your surgery, you will meet with your coordinator and the surgeon to go over what will happen the day of surgery and how to best prepare.

  • You will receive your prescriptions, supplements, and information on how to prepare for your procedure.

  • You will also receive preoperative orders to get your bloodwork and testing done to be cleared for surgery, as well as information about the recovery process.

2

The Day Before Surgery

Our patient coordinator will call you to go over your preoperative instructions and review how the day of your surgery will proceed.

  • You will take your prescriptions as prescribed by your surgeon.

  • You may not eat or drink anything after midnight (including water) the night before your procedure.

  • Depending upon the surgery being performed, you will also need to take a shower with an antiseptic soap to cleanse the area.

  • Be sure to have appropriate clothing ready to wear when you come in: loose comfortable pants, a top that zips or buttons (nothing that needs to be pulled over the head) and warm socks.

3

Your Surgery Day

Upon arrival at our clinic, you will be warmly greeted by our staff. We will escort you to the surgical suite to change, and be prepped for your procedure.

  • Your surgeon will meet with you to go over any questions or concerns, and will review your operation and associated risks with you.

  • He will probably use a surgical marker on your body to plan for the surgery. (Don’t worry, it washes right off.)

  • Your nurse will accompany you into the operating suite where your anesthesiologist will start your IV. (For general anesthesia.)

4

Your Recovery

We provide a comprehensive pre- and postoperative care regimen, but we are always available to address any questions or concerns that you may have.

  • You will receive a call the next day from our team to see how you are feeling. You will probably be experiencing some drowsiness and some discomfort.

  • Rest is a priority!

  • Follow the instructions given to you for your post surgical care.

5

Going Forward Post Surgery

Each patient that walks through our door is a part of our extended family and will be treated as such. Once your surgery has been completed, we continue to be “by your side” and we welcome any questions and concerns you may have.

  • You will be scheduled to come see your surgeon 5-6 times after your procedure, to monitor your progress.

  • You will start to see best results at the 3-6 month mark, depending on the procedure.

  • It is best for your recovery to refrain from working out and strenuous activity for the first few months following your surgery.
